Open House London x Migrant’s Bureau Ltd

Learning From Architecture was an educational programme in collaboration with Open House London, for which we curated a series of design and architecture-based activities for 7-14 year-olds stuck at home during the COVID pandemic.

Our aim was to open up children’s play to engage with the built environment in a socially and politically conscious way. Curating a range of activities contributed by a range of organisations across the built environment.

Some contributors included Assemble, Gurmeet Sian, Mariana Martinez Balvanera, We Made That, and many more.

I also had the task of designing a selection of activities independently (based on my experience as a DJ and Event organiser).‘Sonic Spaces’ was an interactive map of Camden made in collaboration with local DJ, Donwella, tracing the important spaces and buildings that have influenced the pioneering musical culture of the area.
